Micah’s Miles Board

Micah’s Miles was established in 2018 as a nonprofit. We’re fortunate to have six outstanding board members to help guide our service.

Amy Campbell

Amy is a special education teacher, runner, and community builder extraordinaire. She has been Micah’s teacher since kindergarten and was the 2020 Washington State Teacher of the Year. Amy is a fierce advocate for inclusion and each of her students.

Mike True

Mike is a certified public accountant who serves as the CFO for the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust. Prior to that he served as the CFO for the Historic Trust of Fort Vancouver before assuming the role of President and CEO. Mike is an active volunteer in the community and for public schools. He brings enthusiasm and a smile to everything he does.

Cassie Dunsire,PT, DPT

Cassie is a pediatric Physical Therapist with a passion for helping kids achieve milestones that were said to be unattainable. Meeting Micah and learning about Micah’s Miles in 2016 piqued Cassie’s interest into the power of inclusion and adaptive sport. Although Cassie moved with her family to New Zealand in May 2025, Cassie joined Micah’s Miles board in late 2025 to remain engaged in the community with eventual dreams to spread Micah’s Miles mission to NZ.

Suzie snell

In addition to being Micah’s fantastic mom and number one fan, Suzie is a school guidance counselor and barre3 instructor. She organizes “Micah’s Pit Crew” which provides pre, during, and post race support during Micah’s marathons. Suzie also teams with Micah and sister Mackenzie to do school presentations about perseverance, friendship, and inclusion.

Jeff snell

Jeff is a longtime educator and Micah’s dad. He loves getting behind the wheelchair and pushing Micah in their races.
